Earlier this month I had the pleasure of documenting Colin and Courtney's wedding out in the Temecula Valley at Ponte Winery. It was a unique experience for me on two accounts. Firstly, because not only did I capture the big day but I also got to be apart of the rehearsal and rehearsal luncheon. Secondly, I was a second shooter so there was no pressure on me; meaning I didn't have to worry about all the posed shots and instead got to relax and take a bunch of candids and detail shots. Here we go...

Double Boredom

This is why I love it when my sister is home from school; we were both sitting around today, bored, and wanted to get out of the house and do something creative. This is what we did:

Hawaiian Sunrises

I spent the last week staying with my friend, Tara, in Kanehohe Bay on Ohau, Hawaii. Her house is simply beautiful; it has a huge back porch (complete with a hammock) that sits right on the water. I felt like I was living in a dream the whole time I was there.

On the second morning of my visit I just so happened to wake up right at sunrise. When I looked out of my bedroom window I was awestruck by the bright pinks and golds that illuminated the sky. Back home I never make the effort to wake up for sunrises (I'm a fan of sleeping in) so I decided to make the most of the beautiful environment I was staying in and wake up to see a few more. They were all definitely worth it.

Well... sort of.

Back in April I took Headshots for my friend Taylor's dad, Scott Rummell. Most of you have probably not hear of him... but trust me, you've heard him. He is the voice behind countless movie trailers and TV spot promotions. He was also the voice of Aquaman on the Cartoon Network Justice League Unlimited series. TV Guide Magazine wrote and article about him that was published in print and online and the headshot I took was printed along with it. It's the one in the upper left corner check it out:
