Where the Wild Things Are

So, here it is...Where the Wild Things Are... finally! I'm not going to lie... this project has been a pain in the butt to bring to life. After being postponed for a month, long hours spent making the masks, getting rained out so we couldn't finish shooting and me being indecisive in the editing room, I am finished. It's not quite how I imagined it... but I still like the results.

If only I had a big budget to spend on these things...

Here are my favorites:

I want to give a great big thank you to Caitlin, Brittnee, Adam, Kristen and Allison for modeling for me (and Tara who was there in spirit)! You guys have no idea how much I appreciate your support and friendship! I can't wait for out next shoot!

Rachel & Jeff

I had a wonderful time playing around Laguna Beach with Rachel and Jeff on Sunday. I have to thank Rachel for enduring the freezing cold weather while being sick; especially because it didn't show in the pictures whatsoever. Here are some of my favorites:

Oh Danny Boy

Here are my favorite images from a headshot session I did this weekend with my great friend Danny. I had a fantastic time on the shoot; it was a really cool location and my subject was the best of company. I wanted to try out a location in my town that I had been eyeballing for a while, Heritage Hill Historical Park. It is the home of several buildings from the El Toro area that date back to the 1890s. In the past I never bothered to attempt shooting there because I figured a park ranger would chase me out as soon as they saw a professional camera in my hand. However, we wen't unnoticed for a good 15 minutes and when a ranger finally did stroll by she smiled and went on her way. I was shocked. I hope I have the same luck if I decide to shoot there again.
